Dean is noticeably gaining a reputation for being a new breed of hard nosed urban actor. Coming to acting late on in his life, Dean attended Paul McNeilly's evening classes and weekend courses in his quest to build on his own natural acting talent. Paul gave Dean his 1st break on stage, appearing in one of Paul's many showcases he has directed and produced. Dean has worked his way up the acting ladder, from being a extra, support actor, to presenting. It is no secret that his desire lies in film, and to become accepted as a trusted and talented actor amongst his peers.
In 2012 Dean spent most of the year promoting his Best-selling book and 2013 promises to be just as exciting with upcoming feature films, working with some of the UK's most talented and noteable directors.
Dean is also a UK top 10 *"Best-selling" author having written his own memoir aptly named "The Tearaway".
